As well Hunter compiled 114 competitive century breaks in the course of his career, including a personal record break of 146. Hunter also won three ranking titles, the British Open and the Welsh Open (twice).</p> <p>In April 2005 Hunter was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine tumors, he died from the disease in 2006 just before his 28 birthday. He left behind his wife and a child.
