The Paul Hunter Foundation

Paul Hunter was a three-time Snooker Masters Champion, winning the title on the deciding frame of the match on all three occasions. As well Hunter compiled 114 competitive century breaks in the course of his career, including a personal record break of 146. Hunter also won three ranking titles, the British Open and the Welsh Open (twice).

In April 2005 Hunter was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine tumors, he died from the disease in 2006 just before his 28 birthday. He left behind his wife and a child. The Paul Hunter foundation was formed in memory of Paul as an opportunity for underprivileged young people an opportunity to play and learn snooker for free.

Paul Hunter Foundation in Glasgow 25th September

The Paul Hunter Foundation Snooker Roadshow will be in Glasgow on Saturday September 25, offering FREE coaching and fun for budding young players.

It's a fantastic opportunity for anyone who loves snooker to sharpen up their game with expert coaching, learn trick shots and play in competitions. All under-18s are welcome, as well as their parents.

The roadshow will be at the Q Club, 101 Georges Road, Glasgow G3 6JA on Saturday from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and at Rileys, 120 Ledard Road, G42 9RA from 2pm to 4pm.

"Our events are all about giving young people something meaningful to do at the weekends and giving them new skills at the same time."
